« Hello, my name is H.S. I’m 66 years old and I’m recently retired. I am married, father of four children and grandfather of soon 8 grandchildren who fills us with joy every day. »
Had you ever invested in real estate before?
« No, never before Foxstone. Now that I’m newly retired, I’ve taken a good chunk of my second pillar as capital. I was looking for a good investment that would allow me to receive regular additional annuities without too much volatility. »
Were you familiar with real estate crowdfunding before?
« I had no knowledge or even heard of crowdfunding when my wife and I came across the Foxstone news which was being played on tv. It was exactly what we were looking for:
- To invest in real estate without the hassle of operational management.
- Affordable investment with little risk
- Attractive regular returns
- A title deed in our name at the Land Registry. »
How did you know about Foxstone?
« As mentioned on the RTS news. This model spoke to us right away, the arguments put forward were interesting and so I signed up on their website.
The building in Avenches was online and met our criteria, namely a building of character, on a human scale, and rents in the average market, rather moderate. »
What were the important criteria in your investment?
« Before we were introduced to real estate crowdfunding, we thought that maybe we should invest in a small apartment that we would rent. With Foxstone’s crowdfunding, it was easier and more importantly without the hassle of appraising the property, its management, finding tenants, etc. We were therefore delighted with this “turnkey” solution which corresponded in all respects to our needs: investment without great risks, simplicity, interesting return over at least 7 years, no management hassles etc. »
What did you learn from your experience?
«Everything was done very quickly, the documents in the building were clear and precise, made by recognized organizations (professionals). No surprises there, which is exactly what we want when we invest in real estate..
All my questions were answered satisfactorily and in a very pleasant and transparent manner. »
