Introduce yourself in a few words?
« My name is Marco Torti. After a commercial training, I went abroad. On my return to Switzerland, I worked in human resources for large companies such as Nestlé and Credit Suisse. I was then appointed HR Manager for Banque Édouard Constant in Geneva.
Since I retired, I have been spending my days doing consulting work, again in human resources. I am also a member of a political party. »
Had you ever invested in real estate before?
«Yes, I invested in condominium real estate as a personal investment. As well as in securities (speculative purchase). On the other hand, until now I had never invested in real estate in order to receive rental income. »
Were you familiar with real estate crowdfunding before?

How did you know about Foxstone?
«Let’s say I knew about the participatory finance system in general. Joining with others to collectively finance projects, on the other hand, I was not familiar with this concept in real estate. »
What were the important criteria in your investment?
« The goal for me, to invest in real estate crowdfunding, was above all to be able to ensure a complementary income to my pensions. It was also the turnkey service that convinced me. The fact that Foxstone takes care of everything, that I don’t have to deal with any problems with rental management, etc., is a great advantage. »
What did you learn from your experience?
« Foxstone relieved me of building management. That was the most important thing to me. I invested in the Bernex-en-combes building last December. The transaction went very well. »
