Introduce yourself in a few words?
« My name is Ivan, I’m 26 years old and of Spanish origin. I am a graduate of the Haute Ecole de Gestion in Geneva and I am now a Payroll Manager. »
Had you ever invested in real estate before?
« Although I have tried to buy before, this is my first investment in real estate and it certainly won’t be my last. »
Were you familiar with real estate crowdfunding before?
“Not at all, I knew about standard crowdfunding (start-ups, projects, music, etc.) but I didn’t know that it could also be applied to real estate. »
How did you know about Foxstone?
“Through an article in the newspaper (Tribune de Genève if my memory serves me right). I then did some research on the Internet before making an appointment directly at Foxstone’s offices to get more information.
Afterwards, I also saw some articles in the media in French-speaking Switzerland. »
What were the important criteria in your investment?
« Firstly, the investment had to generate a sufficient, even attractive return. To determine this, I compared the returns offered by Foxstone with those I had previously earned on the stock market or through a simple savings account.
Secondly, I wanted to know if I was stuck with this investment. That is to say, whether the share I was going to buy could be resold when I wanted or only after a certain period of time.
Finally, I wanted to measure the security and guarantee of my investment in legal and fiscal terms. Once all these points had been analyzed, I decided to go ahead. »
What did you learn from your experience?
« It’s only been six months since I’ve been in this adventure. So I can say that for the moment I am fully satisfied.
